備考: Sixth Okinawa municipality with its own tax (ordinance passed 2026-03-26, Minister of Internal Affairs consent 2026-06-30). Combined 2% capped at 2,000 yen (prefecture 0.8%/800 + city 1.2%/1,200), the same structure as Miyakojima, Ishigaki, Onna, Motobu and Chatan; the 1,000-yen base round-down is the prefectural rule applied to both shares. The consent documents and the prefecture's list of concurrent municipalities give 2027-02-01 as the start; the city's December 2025 draft schedule had mentioned collection from May 2027, so confirm with the city before relying on the first months. Exemptions also cover school club activities and sanctioned student competitions with their supervisors.
